1. Physical Safety & Responsibility
Jersey Empire™ is a self-guided outdoor adventure. By playing, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your team members.
- You must obey all Jersey traffic laws at all times.
- You must stay on designated public footpaths and respect private property.
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or that is caused by your own actions or by not following the safety rules above. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under Jersey law.
2. Fair Play & Transport
The game is designed to be played on foot or using public transport (LibertyBus). Use of private cars to move between landmarks is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
3. Supervision
Every team must include at least one supervising adult (18 or over) who stays with the team for the whole session.
Players under 16 must be with their supervising adult at all times, and that adult is responsible for them. If you book for anyone under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of their parent or guardian.
4. Game Hours
The game is strictly active between 08:00 and 19:00 local time (09:00 and 16:00 from 25 October 2026). Access to game features outside of these hours is disabled for safety and logistical reasons.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Rescheduling. You can move your booking to another available date from your Team Dashboard up to 48 hours before your session start time.
Change of mind. You can cancel a paid booking up to 48 hours before your session start time, from your Team Dashboard or through our Support page. You can choose either:
- a refund to your original payment method of what you paid, less a 2.5% fee for payment-processing costs we cannot recover; or
- Jersey Empire™ credit worth 100% of what you paid for that booking, for a future session.
Less than 48 hours before your session. Change-of-mind cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session start time are not refunded in cash. Instead, we give you Jersey Empire™ credit worth 100% of what you paid, for a future session.
6. Refunds & Peace of Mind
If we cancel, or the game cannot run. If we cancel your session, or a fault on our side stops it running (for example a platform outage), you get a full refund to your original payment method with no fee, or credit if you prefer.
Free sessions are not refundable.
How refunds are handled. We review every refund request personally and aim to reply within 24 hours. Approved refunds are paid to your original payment method within 14 days.
Your legal rights. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under Jersey law.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, email [email protected]. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in force when you made your booking.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Jersey, and the courts of Jersey have jurisdiction.
