Welcome to Jersey Empire™ Adventure, operated by Cardoso Events. By using our platform, you agree to the following terms. These terms are designed to keep you safe and ensure a fair game for everyone.
For the purposes of these terms, Jersey Empire™ is the consumer-facing game and Cardoso Events is the operator.
1. Physical Safety & Responsibility
Jersey Empire™ is a self-guided outdoor adventure. By playing, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of your team members.
- You must obey all Jersey traffic laws at all times.
- You must stay on designated public footpaths and respect private property.
- Cardoso Events is not liable for any injury, loss, or property damage incurred during the game.
2. Fair Play & Transport
The game is designed to be played on foot or using public transport (LibertyBus). Use of private cars to move between landmarks is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
3. Supervision
Every participating team must include at least one supervising adult (18+ years of age) who remains with the team for the duration of the session.
4. Game Hours
The game is strictly active between 08:00 and 19:00 local time. Access to game features outside of these hours is disabled for safety and logistical reasons.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Bookings can be rescheduled via the member dashboard up to 48 hours before the session start time.

Changed your mind?
We get it, plans change. You can cancel from your Team Dashboard up to 48 hours before your booked session start time, or message us via our support page if you need help.
The Small Print: Our payment provider charges us as soon as a booking is made. For change-of-mind refunds, a 2.5% processing fee is deducted to cover those non-refundable payment costs.
The Alternative: If you prefer, we can issue up to 100% of your original paid amount as Jersey Empire™ Credit for a future game session. Credit is calculated from what you paid for that booking (dynamic pricing safe), not a flat ticket price.
Technical Glitches & Cancellations
If the platform fails (for example app outage, GPS failure, or organiser cancellation), eligible statutory refunds are paid in full to the original payment method and we absorb payment processing costs in those cases.
How to ask for a refund
Request cancellation of your booked event via your Dashboard, or contact us through our Support page. Every request is reviewed personally and we aim to respond within 24 hours.
